A Word From The President
Morgan S. Campbell, CLU
NABIP Florida President 2024-2026
As we head into May, there’s a lot of momentum happening across NABIP Florida. After a successful Day on the Hill and Capital Conference, I continue to be impressed by the engagement, advocacy and leadership our members bring to this industry every day.
Now we shift our focus to one of my favorite events of the year, the NABIP Florida Benefits & Medicare Symposium.
This event is about so much more than CE credits. It’s about stepping away from the day-to-day, connecting with peers, hearing fresh ideas and finding new ways to grow personally and professionally. Our industry is changing fast, and this symposium is designed to help brokers stay ahead, stay informed and stay connected.
This year’s lineup is one of our strongest yet.
We’ll kick things off with Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz, authors of Go for No, bringing a high-energy session focused on mindset, growth and pushing through rejection.
We’re also excited to welcome Mychal Walker to share updates on the direction of NABIP nationally and where we’re headed as an association.
Advocacy continues to be at the core of who we are, and this year’s general session lineup will also feature The Power of Advocacy: A Legislative Conversation, including recognition of our Legislator of the Year and moderated by Corey Lilburn. This conversation will highlight the importance of relationships, policy, and the impact advocacy continues to have on our industry and the clients we serve.
Keynote speaker Doug Van Dyke will dive into practical ways AI is changing the benefits and Medicare space — and how brokers can use it to work smarter and stay competitive.
And we’re thrilled to have Michael Burt joining us as well. Coach Burt brings incredible energy and a message that challenges people to think bigger, take action, and unlock their potential both professionally and personally.
In addition to the general sessions, we’ve built breakout sessions that are timely, practical, and led by experts who truly understand what brokers are facing right now. Whether your focus is benefits, Medicare, or IFP, there will be something you can take back and immediately apply to your business.
But honestly, some of the best parts of Symposium happen between the sessions; the hallway conversations, networking events, reconnecting with friends across the state and building relationships with people who understand this business.
If you’ve been before, you know what makes this event special. If you haven’t, this is the year to join us.
I hope to see you in Orlando as we continue building momentum together.
